Currently, I am a biotechnology engineering student and an undergraduate research assistant at the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology - CENCINAT at Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas – ESPE, Ecuador. My goal is to develop biotechnological products with nanotechnological applications based on the microorganisms, for the remediation and conservation of highly biodiverse natural areas of my country. Also, I work as a collaborator in the Inter-Institutional Relations area of the Network of Biodigestors for Latin America and the Caribbean RedBioLAC, and I am a member of the largest community in Biotech of the world “Global Community Bio Summit" at the MIT Media Lab, Boston, MA. Finally, I am a active member of Biotec Latina, that is a nascent initiative conformed for communities, initiatives, institutions and organizations related with the Biotechnology and Life Sciences in general in Latin America, in order to break the cultural, social, and idiomatic Spanish / Portuguese gap existing in the region, for the collaborative and integral development of biotechnology.
