In 2010, my dad purchased a second-hand PC for me and allowed me to make the most out of it. I spent hours playing with Microsoft Paint, solving online puzzles and learning HTML. As I participated in tech-quizzes, competitions and science fairs in school, I began to enjoy problem-solving challenges and realised my passion for technology. My interests in computers soon motivated me to learn programming and pursue a career in computer engineering.
I completed B.Tech in computer science engineering from Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women. My various initiatives and projects throughout my academic life, made me the proud recipient of Google Women Techmakers Scholarship in 2018. I was one of the 70 scholarship recipients of this prestigious scholarship from Asia-Pacific and received a scholarship amount of USD 1000 from Google. This scholarship is awarded based on the candidate’s academic performance, leadership skills and community involvement. In 2019, I received the Nutanix Women in Technology Scholarship. I was one of the 10 scholarship recipients of this prestigious scholarship globally and received a scholarship amount of USD 2000 from Nutanix.
I was also a part of Google Summer of Code-2018 which is a prestigious open source program. I am currently working as an analyst in the field of technology.
