Prerna Agarwal

I work in AI for Business Process Optimization and AI for Social Good at IBM Research India. My research interests includes Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Process Optimization and Computer Vision. My work has been published in conferences such as BPM, ICASSP, ICPR, etc. and my work in AI for social good has also been featured in NeurIPS. I have also served as Program Committee member of IJCAI and AAAI. I have delivered several invited talk and faculty development programmes in eminent institutions of India. I am an active member of AnitaB.org India, having participated in various conferences and workshops. Prior to joining IBM Research, I completed my post graduation specializing in Data Science. At IBM Research, I now leads projects in the area of Process Optimization such as Decision Recommendation, aimed to bring the power of AI to decision making. I have been a recipient of many awards including IBM Global Volunteer Excellence Award for the contributions towards building an AI system to hire lay-counsellors for EmancipAction NGO, external eminence and recognition award for her contributions towards building AI capabilities for business processes and Best Innovative Idea departmental award for Decision Recommendation.
