Pallavi Pannu

Pallavi Pannu is working as a Data Scientist at KPMG Global Services to build Machine Learning and Deep Learning based solutions for customers. She completed her Computer Science Engineering from Maitreyi College, University of Delhi. After that she did her masters in Data Analytics from IIITMK. Being a positive person, she firmly believes that we become what we work for and the passion with which we strive to pursue our goals differentiates between efforts and results. She is selected as Women in Data Science Ambassador (WiDS), an initiative by Stanford University. She is also selected as Women TechMakers Ambassador by Google out of thousands of applicants. She organizes events, speaks at events, creates content and also mentors female students. She believes that life is all about continuous learning. . She is also the founder of datascience.works, a Youtube channel and shares her knowledge to help the aspiring data scientists. She actively posts data science related content on Youtube and through Medium and Linkedin posts. Pursuing her strong interest in Computer Science and especially data science has over the years enabled her to develop reasoning and analytical skills. She thinks that AI can help save the planet due to its numerous applications like in smart agriculture, climate prediction, smart disaster response. She believes that by applying her AI and Data Science skills she can definitely make an impact and contribute to making this world a better place.
