Digital Health Africa (DHA) aims to facilitate the sustainable growth of digital health systems across Africa by providing a comprehensive and multilayered digital health information resource targeted at Africa, that provides key and valuable information on different players within the health system.
We are focused on two types of activities :
-Improving access to digital health information in Africa
-Community engagement
As the digital health space is evolving rapidly across the continent, we are improving access to information on latest news, trends, startup funding, research, conferences, grants/competitions, courses and all things innovation in health through our media platform, we tell these stories through flagships like: African Digital Health Voices, Digital Health Pulse, and Africa Healthcare Opportunity Hub
For community engagement, we are fostering collaborations and networking amongst stakeholders within the ecosystem through our community networks :
Digital Health Student Network (we are currently on 17 campuses in Africa) and Digital Health Professionals Network which we launched recently with over 150+ members.
Through these networks we empower our community with digital health literacy skills through projects such as : Digital Health literacy for frontline healthcare workers called AfyaLearn and Digital Health Student Bootcamp.
We also advocate for Gender Equality, diversity and inclusion in digital health through our advocacy programs.
