Sophia started Tech Mommas in Canada in Feb 2022 As of today, TEMCA has grown from a dynamic 1 woman squad in Feb 2022, skyrocketing to an incredible 1000+ powerhouse community of Tech Mommas! with 7 team Leaders and over 50 job placements for our incredible members. Notching up 15 promotions within the community and countless mentorship success stories, we're shaping the tech landscape together. A lot of effort and hard work has gone into building our community and Sophia is so proud of this amazing journey.
As a passionate volunteer for TEMCA, a non-profit focused on helping women in Canada to start, grow and thrive in their tech careers, Sophia has dedicated her time and resources to strengthen the organization's reach. Her efforts to promote gender equality in STEM are evident through her public speaking, including her role as a panellist at the Women In Tech Network and her leadership at the Microsoft Inspire Conference.
