Adepeju Deborah Bello is a cybersecurity and financial crime prevention expert with nine years’ experience in digital banking, fraud risk management, AML compliance, cyber investigations, and AI-powered fraud detection. At Barclays UK, she researches emerging cyber threats and develops advanced fraud detection models with data scientists. Soon to begin a PhD at De Montfort University, her research explores AI-driven fraud prevention for micro-businesses in Nigeria. Adepeju holds an MSc in IT Security, a BSc in Computer Science, and certifications including CISA and ISC² Cybersecurity. She is also a published researcher, public speaker, and mentor to aspiring cybersecurity professionals.
