Majlinda is originally from Albania, she continues to give her professional contribution in the field of new technologies, cultural heritage, and education.
She is the founder and director of the Center for Research and Development of the Albanian Folklore, a senior expert and leader in cultural heritage, science, technology, and innovation.
Passionate and experienced leader and senior expert in cultural heritage, technology, and digitalization with a proven track record of successfully leading art direction for projects, and achieving high levels of institutional achievement.
A passionate and experienced leader in innovation through technology, mainly in the union of folklore with technology and digitalization, a union which is reborn of Albanian folklore.
Majlinda has experience with the implementation of technology and its integration with Albanian musical folklore, a project for which the Community of Artists and Performers of Albanian Musical Folklore have called her a hero of the renaissance of this genus of Albanian cultural heritage. She realized this project in close cooperation with the Center for Emerging and Innovative Sciences (CEIS) of Rochester University (NY), FISHMAN Company, and SHADOW Electronic Corp.
She holds a Masters's degree from the University of Shkodra “Luigj Gurakuqi” in Cultural Heritage and Educational Sciences.
In her free time, Majlinda likes to spend a lot of time with her family.
She also likes to help people in need.
