Mahe Zehra Husain aka MZ is a trained mathematician and data scientist with a passion for creativity.
She excelled throughout her school years. At just 19 she topped her third semester at the Department of Mathematics, University of the Punjab in Pakistan.
Her entrepreneurial endeavors started at an early age, when she started selling beaded jewellery to friends and family alongside studying Mathematics and Physics.
She left for the University of Texas, Austin to pursue her Masters degree in Operations Research and scored a 4.0 GPA in three out of four semesters. While pursuing her graduate studies she started writing e-books and exploring various online publishing platforms.
MZ joined FiveRivers Technologies as Manager Operations and Products in 2010. She eventually became the company’s CEO at just 31 with her hard work & dedication.
MZ built a competitive UI/UX Team and led the effort to develop mobile phone applications under the Pepper.pk brand. Over a short span, her team built multiple iPhone and BlackBerry applications, with 3 making it to World No. 1 on the BlackBerry app store.
This recognition resulted in attracting new software clients, like Samsung, UNOCHA, First Detect, Dell and Wateen. Education 2020 (later acquired by Edgenuity) sent multiple e-learning applications for development to FRT.
