Lena McDearmid is the driving force behind Momnt, an embedded lending platform that simplifies financing. As one of the three co-founders and the COO, she brings over 15 years of fintech experience and a deep commitment to fostering a people-centered culture. Lena excels in understanding client needs and market trends, creating remarkable experiences for everyone connected to Momnt.

Her impressive background includes roles at Wells Fargo, CarMax and GreenSky. As a senior credit manager at Wells Fargo, she helped clients secure credit lines and restructure debt options. In her first year, she generated $1.5 million for the bank and was promoted to senior credit manager, consistently ranking as the top “new money leader.”

At CarMax, Lena served as a senior credit analyst, making credit decisions while ensuring fraud prevention through interviews and monitoring. She became a subject matter expert during the migration to the ARGO system and worked with the CAF Fraud Task Force.

At GreenSky, Lena’s career progressed from head of credit operations to senior technical product manager, ultimately becoming director of product management for new verticals and customer experience. She led operations for multiple product launches and implemented company-wide performance measurement systems.

Lena’s diverse experience culminated in her role as co-founder of Momnt Technologies, founded in July 2019. She brings not only expertise but her passion for excellence and culture to the company.
