She was Dell’s first black woman technology executive, Johnson & Johnson’s youngest externally hired Officer and their first global Chief Information Officer, The March of Dimes’ first black chairperson and only their second woman chair, and the Department of Veterans Affairs’ first woman Chief Information Officer. She is a founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Emerald One, LLC, a member of the Fast Company Impact Council, and a member of the Board of Directors for ConMed, Thomson Reuters, Concentrix, and GirlUp.
