Dr.R.Lalitha is working as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology, Chennai. She has around 28 years of teaching experience. She completed her B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering at the Institute of Road Transport Technology, Erode, Bharathiyar University in 1992. After that, She obtained Master’s Degree in M.E, Computer Science and Engineering, M.Tech, Information Technology, and M.B.A. She has obtained two Ph.D. degrees – one from Satyabhama University and another from Anna University, Chennai. She has published her creative ideas for obtaining patent grants. She has published many papers in International Journals. She is also actively involved in many Research Projects and has undertaken a few consultancy projects. Her areas of interest are Software Engineering, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence. She has also authored a chapter “AI Vs ML DL in Artificial Intelligence”, in the Textbook of Taylor publications and another chapter Pandemic Measures for the Covid-19 Outbreak control in

Malaysia: A Correlative comparison with China”, in the textbook named Towards Intelligent Systems Modeling and Simulation by Springer Publications. She is also the head of the Centre for Data Science and Head of the Academic Bureau of Higher Studies at Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology.
