Krishi Mavani

Hi! I am Krishi and I love to learn and innovate. I am in Grade-10th studying STEM and Humanities at School of Excellence, Surendranagar, Gujarat, India. I am a Founder and President of ‘Girls Who Code’ & ‘Girls Up Lioness’ club at my school. I have cracked so many Olympiads of Mathematics and Science and participated in various Artificial Intelligence program to fulfill my STEM interest. While getting exposed to a diverse student body in this school, I would be honored to get top-notch education from the pioneers. This school will lend me an additional lens through which to look at the world's problems in order to better comprehend them.

When I visited my family’s farmhouse, I interacted with, observed farmers, and learned about their struggles from food-water to electricity to crop-yield. These challenges make a farmer’s life unbearable and leads to rising suicidal attempts. I wondered how we could be so ignorant towards the plight of the farmers working under scorching-sun; whose yields are decoratively served in our platters to appease our taste-buds. At that very moment my heart was touched, I couldn’t stop bothering and decided to dedicate my life for the single cause-improving farmers’ lives! I got started by developing a mathematical model using the energy/mass-equations, and comparing predicted and measured data to mitigate the global-climate-change for sustainable-agriculture. My aim is clear: to make the world a better place for all life-forms, not just humans.
