Dr. Josiane Kroll is a distinguished digital pedagogy specialist at the University of Manitoba, where she leads the digital pedagogy team and oversees the integration of learning technologies in teaching. She provides strategic advice to university leadership on the adoption of new educational technologies.
Dr. Kroll holds a PhD in Computer Science and brings over a decade of experience in the software industry. Occasionally, she also teaches degree-credit courses within the Computer Science department at the University of Manitoba.
As a founding member of Women Techmakers (WTM) Winnipeg, a local chapter of Google's Women Techmakers program, Dr. Kroll has been instrumental in building a supportive community for women in information technology. In her role as a WTM ambassador, she has empowered women in their careers. Additionally, she serves as a Google Developers Group organizer, contributing to a collaborative and vibrant tech community in Winnipeg.
