Dr. Hosna Salmani holds a PhD in Health Information Management and a Master’s in Health Information Technology. She is a researcher at Maastricht University with expertise in Digital Health, Healthcare IT, Telehealth, and Patient-Centered Care. She serves as a Technical and Strategic Advisory Group Expert at WHO and as a member of the Virtual Care Committee and Global Proposal Review Task Force at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), while contributing to the Education, Training, and Research pillar of the International Federation of Health Information Management Associations (IFHIMA).
Dr. Salmani has led innovative health projects, authored books on Digital Health, delivered keynotes worldwide, and reviewed for leading journals and conferences. Her achievements include the YTH Live Global Scholarship and the Women Changing the World MENA Awards, reflecting her dedication to advancing health tech and equitable, technology-enabled care.
