Georgiana Dragomir is the CEO of Grapefruit, a Romanian end-to-end digital consultancy in marketing and software development. Since 2015, she has transformed it from a struggling boutique into a thriving international player, growing turnover tenfold, sustaining profitability, and delivering 500+ projects in 9 countries for clients from Fortune 100 corporations to ambitious startups.
A visionary leader, Georgiana believes technology should empower people. She co-founded the Digital Innovation Zone (eDIH), the first hub in North-East Romania supporting SMEs and public institutions in digitalization. She also contributed to INGENIUM, a 10-university consortium shaping Europe’s digital strategy, and co-founded the ALL INDIE Alliance, a cross-border network uniting independent digital, branding, and PR agencies to accelerate innovation.
Her pioneering spirit extends to product innovation: in 2024 she launched Povelia, an AI-powered storytelling platform designed to strengthen parent–child connections, showcasing her human-centric approach to responsible AI adoption.
An alumna of MIT’s Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp and frequent international speaker, she is a strong advocate for women in technology, mentoring students and tech teams. In 2024 Georgiana was honored as CEO of the Year at the International Business Brilliance Awards (UK).
