A year as a middle school teacher is full of challenges to teach a foreign language to pupils from poor back grownd .My objective from the beginning is to motivate learners from different levels of learning styles to use technology to develop growth mindset .Because the social emotional skills are important to promote active learning and positive pedagogy.Regarding the social issues and the lack of tools and the devices I tried to do my best to expose learners to the 21st century skills even I am a teacher of English .First I have been envolved in diffeeerent comminities of practice to have an idea about the best practices using technologies like Microsoft education center.Minecraft for education ,and Google Applied Digital skills .All these experinces helped me to cascade this to my pupils .They engaged and participated in international challenges and received recognitions like.The Arabe Code Week 2023 .They created videos about environement protection through coding, virtual and digital stories in Cospaces edu using coding.The school ranked the second at the national level with 6 teachers and 4 teams .Also I received a special training from EduGems Finland for 5 teachers in all these challenges I helped and coordinate between the teachers and trained them on how to use different apps and digital tools.Also ,Wakelet for education featured my school in an international level ceremony online.The minister of education of Algeria honored me in a big ceremony .
