Daniela Herrera

Daniela Herrera is a Diversity and Inclusion Professional with an outstanding background in Talent Operations, Team Leadership, Mentorship, and People Management committed to building cultures that attract and retain diverse talent, strategies that foster inclusivity and belonging; processes that minimize biases, and systems that elevate historically excluded voices and talent.

Originally from Buenos Aires and now living in New York, Daniela is the Director of Recruitment Operations and ED&I at R/GA; a Co-Chair at R/GA's Latine Employee Resource Group; the Awareness & Advocacy Founding Partner at Allies in Recruiting, and one of the Founding Members at The Talent Alliance.

Dani has 6 years of Diversity and Inclusion Experience, 15+ years of overall Recruitment expertise, and 10+ years of Recruitment and leadership experience. As the ED&I Recruitment Operations Director at R/GA, she developed countless global inclusive practices, training sessions, and company guidelines to support Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and Executive Leadership on their ED&I journeys.

Among other things, Dani volunteers her time, energy, experience, and expertise by hosting free mentors weekly mentorship sessions for historically excluded talent, free webinar sessions, free educational ED&I content, and free 1:1 coaching sessions.

Dani is a certified Leader of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (Northwestern University), a certified Diversity and Inclusion Professional (eCornell), a Certified Diversity Sourcing Professional (CDSP), and has countless other professional certificates and certifications that ground her outstanding and ongoing learning and unlearning journey.

Dani’s outstanding contributions to ED&I have been recognized by multiple awards and recognitions. She has been named one of Mogul’s Top 100 DEI Leaders in 2021, one of PR News Mentors of the Year in 2022, and one of Negocios Now NYC Latinos 40 under 40 Class of 2022. Dani has also been nominated for the Mogul’s Top DEIB Leaders in 2022 award and for the WomenTech Global Awards Mentor of the year award.

Dani has also had the honor to speak at several national and international conferences, including SXSW, Creative Week, Disrupt HR, Hacking HR, Lesbians Who Tech, WomenTech Global, RecruitingDaily, Techqueria, Manifest Equity, MiBucle Tech Week, Masterclassing, Mogul and the Equity and Inclusion Congress.
