Bethan Timmins

Bethan hails from Wales where she grew up as an advocate for women in sport by playing in the first women's rugby team to emerge in the United Kingdom. Her passion for women in technology and STEM more broadly likely hails from understanding equity of opportunity at such a young age. Everyone whom Bethan comes across comments on her extraordinary approach to any client engagement, with a highly commercial, pragmatic, optimistic and committed approach to all she takes on.

Bethan has over 20 years of experience in creating and scaling digital services for businesses across various sectors. From the build of the Companies House infrastructure for the United Kingdom through to working with start up founders unwinding technology challenges they're facing, she's unwavering in how she approaches enterprise to small business assignments.

Her mission is to partner as a CTO with technology teams to transform their IT delivery with a strong focus on operating models for digital services. She co-authored the 'You Build It You Run It Playbook', which contains the principles, practices, and pitfalls of using on-call product teams to achieve higher deployment throughput, greater service reliability, and continuous learning culture. Her thorough approach to anything she takes on is methodical with open communication to all stakeholders.
