The "Become a Solutions Architect" (BeSA) program is a free, volunteer-led mentoring initiative designed to help people build their technical and behavioral skills needed for a cloud-based career, with a primary focus on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The program is run by AWS professionals on a voluntary basis. The BeSA program is targeted at individuals seeking to enter the cloud industry, including those with no prior AWS experience. It is also suitable for experienced cloud professionals looking to expand their skills in a new area. The BeSA private LinkedIn group boasts a community of nearly 19K members, 18K+ YouTube channel subscribers (BeSA Cloud Academy - https://www.youtube.com/@be-SA) with 270,000+ YouTube Views till date. 8 batches spanning 6-12 weeks each have been conducted between 2022 to 2025. 300+ members regularly join weekend live sessions and engage with each other on Discord and on LinkedIn.200+ members succeeded in obtaining AWS certifications. 50+ guest speakers and industry experts shared their journey and career tips. 11 participants got jobs in MAANG companies (10+ in AWS and 2 in Microsoft). The session formats include role play, presentations, workshops, Fireside chats, demos, white-boarding and quizzes.
