I am originally from the Dominican Republic and came to the US to study in college where I discovered the "American Dream" of having an opportunity to contribute and be rewarded. I have been a Women in Tech since 1998 (the .com era) and have been able to be a thought leader in the mobile industry. Finance and Technology is in my DNA and have applied both in various roles I have led such as Audit, Risk Management, Revenue Assurance, Data Privacy, and Strategic Sourcing. All have been experiences where I have been able to use my leadership skills to make a difference by improving the bottom line by millions of dollars and doing it while inspiring my team.
The Syniverse DEI program consists of a Council that meets regularly, every 2 weeks to sponsor and measure various initiatives. The program has 3 pillars:
1) Data analytics/scorecards,
2) Employee Communications
3) Employee Engagement
