iF Design Award is a annual industry award recognizing excellence in Design. Organized by iF International Forum Design GmbH, it covers the Global region.
The iF Design Award, organized by iF International Forum Design in Hannover since 1954, is one of the world's largest design competitions, receiving around 10,000 entries yearly across product, packaging, communication, interior, UX/UI, service design, and architecture disciplines.
Judging is a two-stage process scored by an international jury against published criteria (idea, form, function, differentiation, impact), and winners earn the iF logo plus a profile in the iF Design Award winners database. The top ~75 entries receive the iF Gold Award.
Like Red Dot, iF separates entry fees from winner fees — budget for both. The iF Social Impact Prize runs alongside the main award with a prize fund for non-profit projects.
