Onur Korucu

Onur Korucu is a Managing Partner, Non-Executive Director, and Advisory Board Member for companies and universities across EMEA and the US, shaping impactful strategies in AI governance, data protection, and cybersecurity. She is also a shareholder in firms driving AI automation and privacy tech solutions. Named in Ireland’s “Top 100 Most Powerful People in Tech” as the only woman from Cyber Security, she won the IAPP Privacy Vanguard Award 2024 for EMEA. With a dual background as an engineer and lawyer, Onur has led international teams at KPMG, PwC, Grant Thornton, and Avanade (Microsoft & Accenture JV). She holds an LL.M. in IT Law and an Executive Master’s from Cambridge. She actively lectures on Cybersecurity and Data Protection Master’s programs in Dublin, London, and Istanbul and advises the MS in Cybersecurity program at the University of California, shaping future talent. As an author and thought leader, her book and Harvard Business Review articles offer risk-based frameworks for responsible AI. Through her WomenTech Global Ambassador and IAPP KnowledgeNet Chair roles, she champions diversity, mentors women, and builds global communities in tech.
