I am Nimisha Goel, a Software Engineer at Wells Fargo in Bangalore, India. I graduated from Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women, India this year and pursued B.Tech in Information Technology.
Learning about new trends in technology and innovations around the world has always fascinated me. My greatest motivation for accomplishing my goals transpires from the women around me pursuing their career in tech field despite the gender disparity. As a part of one of the premier institutes for women in tech, I felt inspired everyday to work towards my community. I tried to achieve this by mentoring the women through communities such as Google Developer Student Clubs and published three research papers in my domain of interest, cybersecurity. Moreover, I was the only Indian woman to be awarded FS-ISAC Building Cybersecurity Diversity Scholarship in November 2021 among thousands of participants all over the world, winning USD 10,000 and a cybersecurity mentorship by the industry giant Goldman Sachs.
Besides, I have a deep interest in space science, painting, dance, photography and I strongly believe in diversity at workplaces , so I wish to work towards it in my near future.
